Rare, Early & Graceful in wearable size...a similar pair appears in a portrait by Jean-Etienne Liotard (1702-1789), painter of Maria Theresa and her children

Circa : 1740

Gemstones : 8; two cushion cut & six pear-shape, size range 6-7 mm, almandite-rhodonite slightly purple red, some stones with age damage & imperfections, all collet set above domed closed backs.

Overall size of each earring : 1-1/8” long x 3.4” wide

Ear Wires : “back to front”, 18k gold, 1.25 mm thickness through the ear

Gross weight, the pair : .182 troy ounce
