GREEN JADEITE JADE in Silver artisan-made ring

GREEN JADE AMERICAN STERLING SILVER RING

A well-made ring, the silver setting with wide tapering diagonal scroll sholders; silver-work with characteristics of a good mid-century craftsman. Possibly an early work by James Avery of Texas, whose signed early work is also represented in the same collection.

Circa : mid-century, circa 1960's-70's

Sawtooth collet, broad spiral-ribbed shoulders

Jadeite jade : well shaped oval, 18.3 x 14 mm x 14.8 mm

Finger size : 5-1/2

Silver tested sterling; no quality or maker marks found
Gross weight : .228 troy ounce
