BOHEMIAN GARNETS Snowflake/Starburst Choker Fringe Necklace, circa 1880's to 1910, late Victorian to early Edwardian.
20 rosettes of 4-garnets each center a 1” diameter 6 point star or snowflake (1-3/4” long with its pendant drop) between 4 graduated pendants.
Overall length around the neck : 15”
Two matching rosettes have been removed and saved by the former owner. They can be returned to the chain, adding approximately 1”.
Metal : traditional alloy of the region, not gold
All garnets hand-set, super fine condition, including the box lock and hand made tongue with its heart-shape latch.
A safety chain with spring has been added.
