GEORGIAN GOLD FOB SEAL, set with golden yellow “TOPAZ” CITRINE, foil-backed and faceted in the Georgian manner. Circa : 1825 - 1830

Gem : Citrine Quartz, oval 1” x 3/4” (25 x 19 mm) faceted in multiple tiers around a polished oval table, assuming standard proportions in the hidden underside of the gem, estimated approximately 30 carats
Mounting : length 1-1/2” x 1” (3.9 x 2 cm), bright yellow gold, in three dimensional open ”Lyre” profile, profusely figured with scrolls, shells, and nature forms
Gold : Shell of high karat gold over understructure tested 14k (tested at loop, where understructure is partially exposed)
