Exceptional Quality 1.97 CARATS  EDWARDIAN DIAMOND PLATINUM OPENWORK ring, center 1.50 carat, 
20 accent diamonds & French cut blue sapphires* 
			Circa :  1910, probably French  
Center diamond :  1.50 carat Old European Cut round brilliant, VS1, 'silver cape' J-K color, faces up white, with exceptional brilliance & fire due to high crown proportions  
Accent diamonds, full cut :  Eight, 2.1-2.2 mm, avg .04 carat, good clarity & color, total .32 carat. 
Accent diamonds are bead-set, except four in free-floating mil-grain collets. 
Accent diamonds, single cut:  Twelve, 1.4mm, .0125 carat, good clarity & color, bead-set, total .15 carat 
* Blue Sapphires  : 8 French Cuts, calibre cut, in “V” formation on each shoulder, best blue, assumed flame fusion 
Condition :  Fine, one minute extremely neat reinforcement  (where band met ring as typical) visible only from inside. 
Perfection of tiny detail and open spaces, mil-grain & engraved decoration, all appears original, crisp and sound.
