"GREEN MAN" Celtic Revival Miniature Three-Bottle Perfume Chest 
VICTORIAN 3-BOTTLE PERFUME CASE 
Circa :  1870- 1880's 
Miniature luggage-form, leather on wood,  
fine gilt bronze carrying handle & strap-work ornaments centering three patinated copper figural plaques, each different.  The top plaque centers face of the Green Man, metamorphosing with foliage, another with celtic dragons midst foliage, the third of scrolling oak leaves 
 
Original working key. 
 
Bottles :  3; original glass, blown in mold, with hand-faceted  original stoppers 
 
Length of chest  6-1/2" x 3" x 4-1/2" tall 
 
Provenance :  Portobello Road, London purchase by collectors in or about the  early 1960’s
