Graceful curve to wings and overscrolled arm rests; tapering straight front legs inscribed with vertical lines along each outer edge.
Height 43-1/2” x 30-1/2” wide
Secondary woods appear to include chestnut or ash, maple, walnut
Good “as found” finish is old and possibly original; nicks along outer edge of the 2 front legs
Reference : Antiques Sept 1965, a similar example, circa 1815, excellent proportions and condition.
