GEORGE II, in the Chippendale taste,
fine original brasses, rich patina (Note slight darkened contact mark on lid, on each side of handle, from over 250 years contact with the fine original brass bale.) Good original bracket feet...an exceptionally fine example

Length : 9-3/4” x 5-1/2” x height 6” handle folded
Interior has two original wood dividers
Steel period key with traces of silvering, possibly original, working.
